The Upper Room is a weekly meeting where students get together to praise God, connect with him on a deeper level, and talk about all kinds of issues that affect students today. For many students, the Upper Room is a great source of encouragement and strength for the rest of the week. Our time is filled with a time of student-led praise to help connect our hearts to the Lord, followed by a time spent in interactive Bible study. We talk about topics like relationships and direction for your life's purpose. You'll also get a chance to interact with students from other campuses in the Montgomery area. You're not just another number to us. We want to know you!

 The Upper Room is on

Wednesday nights at 7PM

 KATIE ATCHISON - CAMPUS MINISTER
Katie Atchison is a beloved daughter Jesus Christ who is from Albertville, AL. Once she committed her life to being a disciple of Christ shortly after high school, Katie got her Associates Degree in Social Work from Snead State Community College. As a counselor at Camp Ney-a-Ti, she met Hannah Vest and the youth group from Landmark. Upon seeing the Spirit of God in the group, she decided to become involved in Landmark's Campus Ministry as she finished her Bachelor's in English at Faulkner University. Katie felt God's calling to do mission work in Peru for six weeks her Junior and Senior year and then in Turkey for a month in 2009. Then in August of 2010, Katie departed for a 10-month teaching job in China. There she was also able to share the Good News with her students and encourage the local Church. She is excited to be home, married to Jon, and to continue shining light and spreading love on the streets and campuses of Montgomery!
